Alison Magill Obituary

Alison Emily Grant Magill, nee Brewer, passed away at the age of 94 on Wednesday February 19, 2014. Born in Auckland, New Zealand on May 28, 1919, she is an "old girl" of Auckland's Diocesan (Church of England) Girls' School. She was a member of the Royal New Zealand Air Force as an automobile driver during World War II when she met and married he beloved husband, Ohio born member of the United States Navy, Franklin Charles Magill. She has resided in the United States since 1945 and in New Orleans since the early 1960s. She was preceded in death by Mr. Magill 1n 1974. She is truly loved and will be sorely and sadly missed by her survivor, son John. Mrs. Magill is to be cremated, and in lieu of a funeral or memorial services it is requested that prayers and kind wishes be given to loved ones by the living in her memory. Arrangements under the direction of Schoen Funeral Home, New Orleans, LA.
