Sorry to hear of Papa Moss' passing. I have many memories of Papa Moss. We all called him Papa regardless of kinship. He loved to tell jokes and he loved the ladies. He'd get that little twinkle in his eye and you knew you were in for a funny tale or joke. Papa Moss will be missed. Praying for all of the family.

Farewell my friend you're leaving
It's time for you to go
Your friendship was a blessing
And I will miss you so
We Shared so many secrets
You brightened up my days
You brought me so much happiness
With your kind and loving ways
You lifted up my spirits
When I was feeling blue
No matter what was happening
You knew just what to do.
And oh, we had such fun
Through all the ups and downs of life
The good times and the sad.
You best friend I ever had
God is here to take you home
Now you and I must part
I love you and forever
You will live within my heart.

Have some great memories of Uncle Albert and Aunt Mamie of Thanksgiving days gone by. The Macy Thanksgiving day parade and football. That hearty laugh. Remember the last visit we had with him and Aunt Mamie. He was just as lively as ever. Was a wonderful day. Sad that he's gone, but happy that he is with his beloved Mamie and my grandma Bea. What a reunion. Till we see you again, keep the books straight

A Garden
Our Papa kept a garden.
A garden of the heart;
He planted all the good things,
That gave our lives their start.
He turned us to the sunshine,
And encouraged us to dream:
Fostering and nurturing the seeds of self-esteem.
And when the winds and rain came,
He protected us enough;
But not too much because he knew
We would stand up strong and tough.
His constant good example,
Always taught us right from wrong;
Markers for our pathway that will last
a lifetime long.
We are our Papa's garden,
We are his legacy.
Thank you Papa, we love you.
