Frank Paul Dispensire, Sr., passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2014, at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston, TX. Born to Rosario and Antoinette (Corona) Dispensire March 04, 1939, he lived all of his life in Baton Rouge. Frank was a passionate man who enjoyed woodworking. Frank was the Owner of Frank's Door & Building Supply Co., for over 42 years and one of the founding members of LEMIC. Frank was a Redemptorist High School Alumni and attended Louisiana State University
. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, spending time with the granddaughters and socializing with friends. Frank is survived by his best friend and wife of 55 years Barbara (Manola) Dispensire, daughter Toni Lynn (Dispensire) Higgins and sons Frank Dispensire, II, and Daryl Dispensire, many loving grandchildren (Frank, III, (Trey), Dara, Dakota, Nicholas, Matthew, Victoria and Olivia), two great grandchildren Natalie and Tristan and extended family. Frank was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. Also survived by siblings Nancy (Dispensire) Lapeyrouse and Johnny Dispensire. Frank was preceded in death by his father Rosario, mother Antoinette and sister Ida. A Memorial Service with visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Rabenhorst (East) Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd, BR, LA, on Wednesday, February 05, 2014.
