Rodger Hunt Sr.

A resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge. He was 66 and retired as a Senior Technician from Uniroyal Chemical Plant. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, who served in the Vietnam War. Visiting at Hall Davis & Son on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013 from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. conducted by Pastor Johnny Hollins. Interment in Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary, La. Survivors include his former wife, Doris Long Hunt; sons, Romero Pierre Hunt, Rodger Hunt Jr. and Timothy Hunt; sister, Marjorie H. Smith; grandchildren, Avery Hunt, Ashlynd Hunt, Kayla Hunt, Bria Hunt, Tyler Hunt, Skyler Hunt and Xavier Hunt; and great grandchild, Ta'Liyah Hunt. Preceded in death by his parents, Foster and Priscilla Jacob Hunt; brother, Foster Hunt, Jr.; sister, Eva H. Kinchen; and grandson, Timothy Hunt, Jr. Arrangements by Hall Davis & Son.
