It is with great sadness that the family announces that Frank E. Seeling, III-age 58, passed away on August 16, 2013. Buddy was taken from us too soon. We thank him for "Making a Difference" in all of our lives! He was the beloved husband of M. Angele Cerise Seeling for 35 years, and the devoted and loving father of Frank E. (Buster) Seeling IV, Michael Seeling, Christopher Seeling, Catherine Seeling Lee (wife of Paul Lee). He was the son of the late Mr. Frank E. Seeling Jr. and Maria Santa Rose Colletti Seeling. Brother of Donna Seeling Sanchez and husband Jerry; and Cathrina Seeling Tilly and husband Paul. He was the Uncle of Sarah, Collette, Courtney, and extended family. Son- in- law of Mary (Mimi) Cerise and the late Henry Cerise. He graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School (1973), and Tulane University (1978). Professionally, he began his career working for New York Life as a young agent. Not long after he switched to Property & Casualty at the request of John Santopadre. This decision proved (a) success when he became a partner of Simpson Walker & Seeling. A few years later in 1987, he formed his final entity & partnership at AWS (Aparicio, Walker & Seeling). Buddy's professional career was only a precursor for his civic duty. In 1990 Buddy joined the Fore!Kids Foundation where he ultimately served as Chairman of the Board. He was also past president of the Greater New Orleans Executives association and past Chairman of the CNA Agents Advisory Council, past board member of Tulane University 's T-Club as well as past President of the Archbishop Rummel Alumni Association. The visitation will be held Friday August 23, 2013 for 10:00 a.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA. 70124. A mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Lake Lawn Chapel. Interment at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery.
