Dear Ernest, Mary and Family,
I am so sorry that I learned of Carol's passing too late to attend the funeral and pray with you. Getting to know your family during our CYO days at Resurrection of Our Lord was one of its many highlights. Please accept my deepest sympathy and know that my prayers are with you all as you grieve this great loss.

To the Lorch and Piwko Family: We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your precious daughter, Carol. Although we did not know her good, she always had a "smile" on her face when we seen her in church. I remember her with her two sons sitting in front of us one Sunday. I know you will keep all of her good memories with you for the rest of your life, and will be able to tell her sons. She is in the arms of Jesus! She is at peace!

Dr. Lorch, Mrs. Mary, Beth, and Kitty,
On behalf of the children of Lou and Jean Bonnaffons, I extend our deepest sympathy to all of you. This is indeed a loss for the entire New Orleans East and Resurrection of Our Lord family.
The "Lorch girls" were part of all of our extended families and you, Dr. Lorch, took such great care of all of us as the chosen pediatrician for many of us in that community. Mrs. Mary, the sacrifices made by you and your girls so that Dr. Lorch could give all of his patients his full attention and impeccable care, did not go unnoticed. With parents such as you two, it would be virtually impossible for any of your daughters to not have grown up to be loving, generous, and selfless women.
I will forever remember Carol as a smiling and fun-loving person to be around. She laughed freely and had the most amazing spirit. Being around Carol, one could not help but smile and get caught up in her zest for life and acceptance of everyone. Your family's loss is truly ours as well. She is now free from the pain that wracked her body; and, her soul and spirit can continue on as a guardian angel for all of you and her sons. She touched so many lives and her time here on earth is indeed a legacy for us to treasure.
God bless.

Carol-- I have the best memories of you! From the Disney World CYO trips...M&M's in Alicia's purse, rolling each other's houses, horseback riding @ circle G, and just hanging out together. You touched the McCune family with your contagious laughter, pretty smile, love for life and your sweet genuine self. You are sorely missed by many--but are in the loving presence of God our Father. Love, prayers and peace to your family during this sad time.
Sincerely--Beth McCune Cox

To the Lorch family, Carol will always be loved and remembered by my family. She was so very special to all of us and we loved her very much. She was a best friend to Colette, a friend to Denise and a big sister to me. Carol meant a lot to all of us. She and I always had a closeness and a very special bond. I still remember hiding in the bathroom and laughing with her during a jailbreak game because no one could find us because we were outside the boundaries. Sitting inside was not part of the game. I will always love and cherish Carol and all the childhood memories. She will remain my big sis in heaven! Michelle Duffour

A special Cabrini Crescent has become a beautiful angel. You will be missed by all your family and fellow classmates, but we will all meet again someday. You were chosen too soon, but God had a plan and he needed you to be there when we all arrived. He couldn't have picked a better person who is so loving and caring to do this. Prayers will always be with you and your family from your Cabrini Classmates of 1981

Joey and Jack,
We are sending our love and prayers to you and your family as you begin the journey to navigate the time ahead to arrive at the joy of celebrating the happiness of your Mom's memory - a cherished life (and a new Angel). We are sending a few words that we will remember her by - charm, compassion, courage, humor (especially the goofy humor), strong faith, and selflessness - all amazing gifts that I know she shared with you, as she did with family and friends.
Our prayers are with you, your Dad, your Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins - for strength and peace from our Father, who cares for you today and everyday.
