A resident and native of Baton Rouge, he passed away Monday morning, Sept. 9, 2013, at his home. He was 71 , an employee of the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, and a U.S. Navy veteran. Visiting at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church on Friday, Sept. 13, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by Father Edward Chiffriuer. Interment in Roselawn Cemetery. Survived by daughter, Lisa Harris; niece, Nicole Lewis Henderson; sister, Barbara Lewis and husband Tommy; and grandchildren, Steven Harris, Delayna Wright, Tia Harris and Edward Taylor III (Amir). Preceded in death by his spouse, Vivian Baranco Robertson; daughter, Sandra M. Robertson-Taylor; mother, Clementine Holmes McKee; father, Edward Guy Robertson Sr.; maternal and paternal grandparents. He was a former member of the Original Illinois Club and The Bunch Club. Edward enjoyed entertainment and traveling.
