Marion Levi Wolf was born one of 10 children in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on December 14, 1923 to Henry and Effie Kidd Wolf. He went to be with his Lord, his beloved wife Carmen Küpper Wolf and daughter Sonya Cecila Wolf on May 18, 2013. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 2 Timothy 4:7. "Cookie" Wolf, as he was known to all, leaves behind one remaining sister, Shirley Wolf LeBlanc; daughter, Cynthia Susan Wolf; sons, Marion Paul Wolf and Keith Randall Wolf; daughter-in-law, Sandra Wolf; grandchildren and their spouses; James Keith and Catherine Wheat, Joshua Paul Wolf, Elizabeth Helen Wolf, Keith Randall Wolf, Jr., and Andrea Wolf; and great grandchildren Caitlin Cecilia Wheat and Hayden Nichols Riles. After attending Baton Rouge High School and serving in the United States Navy, Cookie attended both LSU and Southeastern Louisiana University where he excelled as a Blocking Back on the football teams and graduated from SLU in 1948. Following college, Cookie worked with his siblings at Wolf's Sunbeam Bakery, earning his never ending work ethic and a nickname that followed him through his 89 years on this earth. A devoted family man, his mission is life was to enjoy every minute with his family and provide for them all he could, including being the only father one young grandson would ever know. Cookie and Carmen went on to open a series of One Hour Valetone Cleaners that later became Wolf's Cleaners. Visiting will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd on Tuesday May 21, 2013 from 10am until funeral services in the chapel at 12noon with Interment immediately following at Greenoaks Cemetery. The Wolf Family graciously appreciates the staff of Our Lady of the Lake Hospital and St. Clair's Manor for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Marion Wolf's name to Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area, 3772 North Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70806.

I had the pleasure to meet Cookie early in my career, he taught me many of the traits I still employ today. He was a stickler for quality and great service, he was firm yet fair. I loved to see him laugh his face would light up in a Santa Claus type fashion, he loved life and he loved his family and I was proud to be his friend, my deepest sympathy to Cindy,Paul and Kieth and family, he was one of the best men I've ever known!
