Sylvia Jeanette Husband Stringer, 76, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 at The Carpenter House. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Friday, June 14, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Corinth Baptist Church, Raleigh, MS on Saturday, June 15, at 2 p.m. She was survived by her husband, Tommy M. Stringer; son, Russ C. Stringer and his children, Matthew Stringer and wife, Kristen, Josh Stringer, and Landon Stringer; daughter and son-in-law, Leah J and Zolly G. Tucker, III and their children, Aleshia J. Tucker, Katie R. Tucker, Zolly G. "Tuck" Tucker, IV; and sister, Ann Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Grace Blackwell Husband; and brother, Harless R. Husband. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Stringer and Russ,
So sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Stringer and your mother. She was such a sweet person. Enjoyed talking to her throughout the years at the ballpark. She loved her grandkids and enjoyed watching them all play ball!!! She will be missed by all.
