A native of White Castle and resident of Alsen. He was 78, and died Thursday, March 20, 2014 @ 4:00 am at Louisiana War Vet Home. He was a retired electrician @ LTI for 30 years and also self-employed electrician for an additional 20 more years. Visiting at Mt Bethel Baptist Church Monday, March 24, 2014 at 10:30 am til service at 11:30 conducted Rev Keith A. Branch. Interment: Louisiana National Cemetery. Wife- Ernestine Stewart Dabney - Alsen, 1 daughter Mary D. Jackson ( David ) - Zachary, 1 son Nicholas Dabney ( Cenetra ) -Baton Rouge, 5 grandchildren Miranda Dabney- Dallas,TX., Alexis Atkins -Zachary, Leon Atkins III - Baton Rouge, Austin Atkins - Zachary and Nikayla Dabney - Baton Rouge. 6 sisters all of California, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents Williams Sr. and Alma Jackson Dabney, 2 sons William Dabney III and Brian Dabney.
