Dear Dixie,
I'm so sorry to hear of Ed's death. Was it his heart? You had said at Christmas that he had had heart attacks. He was far too young to die!
Love, Barbara Hebert Burgraff

I learned of Mr. Eds passing today. I grew up at Daniell Battery, working there from the time I was 18 until I was 36. I learned a great deal from him and looked to him as a mentor. He was an incredibly smart man that commanded respect and deserved every bit of it.

It was with great sorrow I learned of the passing of Ed Taylor. In life a few people will have a great impact on your life and of your loved ones. Ed Taylor was responsible for my family and me moving to Baton Rouge. I worked directly for Ed for almost 25 years. His integrity was never questioned and he was a man of principal. We are greatly in debt to Ed for his support of myself, my family and my fellow employees of Daniell Battery Manufacturing. Rest in Peace!
