Lucille, better known as Momsie to her closest friends and family, passed away at her home in Baton Rouge on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at 8:30 am at the age of 100. She was a native of Lottie, Louisiana and resided in Baton Rouge for 94 years. She was a devoted member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home in Baton Rouge on Friday, August 15, 2014, from 5 PM until 8 PM and will resume on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 9 AM until funeral service at 10 AM officiated by Rev. Steve Leonard. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Lucille is survived by her two children, Dr. Harry Todd of San Francisco, California and her daughter Ann Todd Dudley and husband Tommy Dudley of Slaughter, Louisiana; grandchildren Todd Dudley and wife Kellie, Donna Dudley Pecue and husband Dale, Lauri Dudley Bennett and husband Doug and Thomas Dudley and wife Denene; great-grandchildren Lauren Bennett, Brittany Pecue, Heather Dudley, McKenzie Bennett, Andrew Bennett, Hanna Dudley, Currie Dudley, Farrah Dudley and Wyatt Dudley; great-great granddaughter Brooklynn Guidry. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Harry F. Todd; grandson, James ""Doug"" Dudley; parents Walter E. Paxton and Gertrude Robertson Paxton; 6 sisters and 1 brother. Pallbearers will be Todd Dudley, Thomas Dudley, Doug Bennett, Dale Pecue, Andrew Bennett, Jason Pittman and honorary pallbearers Camille Gaspard, Dr. Alfred Stevens and Bill Schneider. A special thank you to all of her devoted caretakers Joyce Henry, Diane Carter, Flo Jones and Nancy Pierson as well as her hospice nurse Suzi Thornhill. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
