A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Jack died peacefully Wednesday, December 18 , 2013 at his home in Baton Rouge after a long illness. He was born in Shreveport in 1940 and moved to Baton Rouge at a young age. He attended Dufrocq Elementary, graduated from Baton Rouge High School in 1959 and attended Louisiana State University 1959-1964. He was retired after 45 years as an apparel salesman and retail store manager. In the late 70's, he was the owner of 2 retail stores in Baton Rouge. He was a huge LSU and Saints football fan, enjoyed fishing, especially at his camp on Lake Rosemound, cooking, the holidays, Fleur de Lis pizza, golf, movies, books, trips to the beach and time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Brignac Jackson, son, Alex Brignac, treasured daughter Sage Jackson and grandson, Bennett. His sense of humor and love for his family will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by his parents, Leon (L. T.) Jackson and Lillian (Bebe) Jackson, and brother, Michael E. Jackson. Arrangements entrusted to Church Funeral Services with a private family graveside service at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
