I remember the times Mr. Alexander would take me on tours of the pasture to see my cows...including new ones he had added to my stock. Once there was a calf nursing on my cow and his, and we couldn't figure out which cow was the mother. We solved the problem by splitting the profit on that one! He was truly a wonderful person. I will miss him, and will always have fond memories of him.

I will always remember Mr. Alexander, how nice he was to everyone. I remember the times when I would bring my grandfather (Leo Miller)in for a hair cut. The baber shop seemed to breath with laughter, and some "tall tales"? Thanking you and yes,you will be in my prayers. DANNY JANIS

Mrs. Mary Lois, Marianne & family, where do I start? My ''OLD BUDDY'' is gone but left me with so many treasured memories. He is one in a million, I will never ever forget all the trips to LSU baseball and we always had to take the old bridge instead of the interstate and me and Mrs Dot would just look at each other and he told old old stories all the way there and all the way back home..He never made the 4th inning, he would go to the car and sleep and wait for us. The very best of all was the night after the game he started toward Airline Hwy and drug us in the stockyard at 10:00 at night, did we get some stares. There was not a place we stopped he wouldn talk to everybody and did not know half of the people...well, that is only a portion of all the good times we had. Last but not least he nicknamed me ""BIG MOUTH'''' and I will always remember that name....Mary Lois and Marianne you had a wonderful loving husband and dad and I know you will miss him and so will I..God will give you the strength to go on without him and treasure the precious moments...I will pray for all of you..God Bless!!! Love ""BIG MOUTH""" Debbie Gremillion

"Miss" Mary Lois and Marianne,
I hope you know how much you all mean to me. I have always thought of you as family. Mr. Howard was like a grandpa to me.
He was such a caring, funny and kind man. We will truly miss him. I am so thankful I was able to talk to him one last time. I will never forget our last conversation and the last thing he said to me "I LOVE YOU".
I am not able to come to you and do things for you, but I am just a phone call away if you need to talk.
I know it doesn't take the pain away right now for any of us, be at least we know he is no longer suffering and is with Linda and Randy Maw Maw Alexander watching over all of us.
You are in my thoughts and prayers every minute.
I LOVE YOU ALL WITH ALL OF MY HEART!!! DARLA

Mrs. Mary Lois and Marianne,
My love and prayers are for all of you this morning.
Mary Lois, you and Mr. Howard were my second parents when I was growing up. I have such fond memories of all those weekends I spend at your home. Every Sunday morning, Mr. Howard would go get those donuts for all of us.
I treasure visiting with the two of you at our favorite spot the pass few years.
Mr. Howard was such a friendly, sweet, always laughing and smiling person.
May God Bless all of you,
All Ways,
Always, Fay
