A devoted mother and talented seamstress, she departed this life Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. Viewing at Hall's Celebration Center, 9348 Scenic Highway, on Friday, March 18, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Viewing at Hollywood Church of Christ, 5111 Hollywood St., on Saturday from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by Brother Viltz. Survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert Charles Sims Sr.; sons, Roderick and Shedrick Sims; granddaughter, Shakira Sims; brothers, Purlie, Charles and Elzie Judson; and sister, Rosemary Judson Williams. Preceded in death by her parents, Elzie and Lucille Judson; and son, Robert Charles Sims Jr. Guest book may be signed at www.hallsinc.net.
