A resident of Baton Rouge and native of Woodville, Miss., she died on Sunday, August 12, 2012, at age 79. Visitation at Greater King David Baptist Church, 222 Blount Road, on Saturday, August 18, from 9 a.m. until service at 11a.m., conducted by Rev. Ted Bradley. Burial in Zachary Public Cemetery. Survived by four children, Darlene, Billy and Donnie Bethley, all of Baton Rouge and Percy Bethley Jr. and wife Deborah of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters; four brothers; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by husband, Percy Bethley, Sr.; daughter, Iona Bethley; son, Lewis Bethley, Sr.; and parents. Arrangements entrusted to Grant's Westside Funeral Services, 1151 Louisiana Ave., Port Allen, (225) 383-2001.
