Pierre is frequently in my thoughts, but especially so as I watched his beloved LSU Tigers win the National Championship earlier this year. I miss his warmth and wit.

Pierre was my classmate at Tulane in the Health Services Administration. He took me and other classmates to Donaldsonville where we met his parents and toured the store and the area. Pieree and I were in touch on and off over the years. He was a fine man. We had many good times together.

Joey and I were shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Pierre. Pierre was a wonderful person from an outstanding family of our community of Donaldsonville. We extend our sympathy and love to the entire family and assure them of our thoughts and prayers for their consolation and blessings. May we offer the Blessing of Aaron for Pierre and his family, "May the Lord bless and keep you, may he make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace." Amen.
