Memories and Condolences
for Jane Wooldridge

Not sure what to say?

Elaine and Doug, I'm so very sorry about Janie. I just found out when I was reading Bill's guest book online. I only knew what I heard of Janie from Doug and the few times I had meet her and our conversation was mostly about cats. I do remember how much she loved them. I remember her working at the church then getting the job with the planning commission. What I do remember of her was her sweetness and her kindness and soft spoken manner. My prayers are with you. This is such a tragedy for your family and words are not enough. Pray, Pray, Pray for strength. On another note please accept my sincere thanks for your thoughtfullness sending the beautiful plant. I love it and will try my best to keep it alive. Love you all!

Peggy, Elaine & family-
My mom (Rhonda Clegg Talkington)had been wanting to reconnect with Janey recently but wasn't sure how to find her. I just happened to read the obits today and see her name as I remember my mom & Janey doing things together while I was a young child. I called my mom to tell her the news of Janey's passing and she'd like to talk to Elaine. I wish I had seen this yesterday so mom could've attended the service today. When you are ready, please contact my mom either thru email ([email protected]) or give her a call @ 225/439-3677. She would really like to talk to Elaine. We are very sorry to hear of Janey's passing. She was always such a kind person and a great friend to my mother many years ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I had the pleasure to work with Jane for several years at the Planning Commission. She was a sweet and wonderful person. There will be a huge void at the front desk but I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet her and work with her. The Wooldridge Family are in my prayers during your time of bereavement.

Jane was the sweetest lady I have ever worked with. I will never forget getting off the elevator and seeing her bright face at her desk. I loved sitting at her desk and looking at all her kitty figurines. I will never forget the pride she had for her job or her love of Alice Cooper! I will never forget you, sweet lady!!
