Greg Mauldin died on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at his home in Zachary. He was 66 years old and a native of San Antonio, TX. He was retired from the EBRP School Board with 20 years of service. Visitation will be on Saturday April 6, 2013 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary from 9:30am until Memorial service at 10:30am, conducted by Dr. Reggie Bridges. He is survived by his wife of 25 years; Sheryl Mauldin, 4 daughters and two sons-in-law; Andrea A. Mauldin of Zachary, Melanie L. Free & husband Chip of Bossier City, Nykki M. Watts & husband Stan of Zachary, and Antonia D. Mauldin of Zachary, 2 sons; Gregory O "Chet" Mauldin Jr. of Mandeville & Donald J. Moore of Baton Rouge, a brother and sister-in-law; Roy Anderson & wife Barbara of Dallas, TX., and 3 grandchildren; Joshua M. Mauldin, Bryant C. Free, and Emily M. Shelton. He was a graduate of Louisiana State University and he enjoyed music and sports. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Mauldin's passing! He was such a nice guy and I had the pleasure of getting to know him and care for him when he was under Dr. Castine's care! I hope that God's comfort and grace give you and your family strength during this difficult time! Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers!
