A resident of Baker, he passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 after battling cancer. He was 60, born in Eagle Lake, Texas, and an inspector with Stupp Corporation. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Gene Rives. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by son, Michael F. Todd, Jr. and wife, Dana; daughter, Tamra Todd; two brothers, Harry Todd, Jr. and wife Lana, and Vic Todd, Sr. and wife Cindy; three grandchildren, Ella Elizabeth, Mary Grace, and Luke Michael Todd; niece, Carrie Todd Yelverton; two nephews, Vic, Jr. and Rusty Todd; five great nieces, Victoria, Emma, Addie and Sadie Todd, and Camryn Yelverton; and a great-nephew, Jack Todd. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry Sr. and Robbie Todd; and two sisters, Trudy and Brenda Todd. Pallbearers are Vic Todd, Jr., Rusty Todd, Jeremy Farriel, Ricky Tourere, Mike McLeary, and Jamie Ducote. Big Mike loved gardening, cooking, music, and LSU sports. Special thanks to his sitter, Sissy, with PRN Nursing of Baton Rouge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge.
