I'll forever be in your debt, for all the things you've done for me. Our talks we had reminds me of the ones I have with my daughter. Many have said I look just like you, so I have something wonderful to look forward to when I reach my golden years. Whenever I saw you, I could always look for that smile and tight hugs you loved to give. My kids were fortunate to spend time with you and they miss you dearly. Lord let my life be a reflection of you so that I can see my precious grandma once again.

Mama Fig, I'm so sad that you had to leave this world. I know that you would want me to be happy so I'll try to keep a smile on my face. Thank you for always being there for me when no one else was. Thank you for always loving me no matter what happened. You'll be in a better place pretty soon and I hope that I will be able to see you soon.

Dearest Evelyn,
My continued prayers for you and your family. I cannot imagine the sadness and sense of loss of loosing a mother, but God knows and He will comfort all of you. Keeping your memories of her close will help, as one of the ministers said at the service.
I want you to know that I may have only met your Mother a few times, but all of you did a wonderful job of telling her story at the service and at the end of it I felt I had known her for years, it was lovely.
Sending up prayers of strength,
Annie

Evelyn and Cousins: I am sooo sorry I did not make it to the services. I DID NOT KNOW. My heart is with you. Bert was very special to us. Mother loved her like a sister. Take pride in knowing she was loved and is now at rest.

Moma I will never forget you. I'm so thankful for everything that you've instilled in me. A caring, kind and loving individual. Your greatly missed. I feel blessed that you were able to meet all of your great-grandchildren. They all got a chance to know you. My biggest dream was to make you proud, as you witness me walking across that stage receiving my first Bachelor's Degree. It's a reminder to let you know that all of your hardwork over the years of getting me back and forward to school has paid off. I won't let you down. The minute I feel like giving up; it's all your hardwork and dedication of taking care of my siblings and I that keeps me going. My graduation day will be a bittersweet moment, for you will not be there to see me and make you proud. I'll keep my head up, because I know you will be there in spirit smiling down on me. I have your birds as a constant reminder of you, I will take great care of them. Their melodies that they chirp, is sweet music to my ears in constant reminder of you. I miss you so much, all I wanted was to be able to pay you back for all you have done for me. You deserved nothing but the best. I feel a big void in me since you've been called home. I feel empty, lost and confused. Yet, I know God makes no mistakes, for I will not question His judgement to call you home. I just pray for peace and your strength. You were so strong. So get your rest in Heaven, until we meet again my Sweet Lady. You have your wings now. Fly high my love...Until we meet again. ~I LOVE YOU FIG~ :'( Signed, Your Granddaughter Keisha

The blessed hope:
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
Until that blessed morning, may "His peace...guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."
In my prayers...
