A resident of Baker, she passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 81, and a former longtime resident of Brooksville, Mississippi. Visiting at Brownfields Baptist Church, 11998 Plank Road, Baton Rouge, on Monday, Feb. 17, from 5-8pm, and on Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 9am until religious services at 11am, conducted by Rev. Steve Bridges. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by husband of 45 years, Thomas "Pepaw" Bethany; two daughters, Marsha Price and husband Steve, and Lisa Bethany Orillion; son, John Barham and wife Emma; brother, Bill Stallings; eight grandchildren, Carlye, Jessie, Kristen, Celeste, Jonathan, Danielle, Ashli, and Sydni; 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way. Pallbearers are Jonathan Barham, David Lizana, Seth Sinclair, Kevin Creel, David Ladd, and Jim Stallings. I am so sorry Lisa, Marsha, Johnny, Mr.Tommy and family. Mrs. Jeanette was always so sweet and giving. I know everyone will miss her so much. She is an angel in heaven now. My prayers are with you.
