She was a resident of Baton Rouge and a former resident of Jamaica. Evalyn departed this life on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 leaving her husband, William "Bill" Freedman; her daughter, Ana; her step-daughter, Michonne; her granddaughter, Janaiya; her sisters, Pam and Monica; her brother-in-law, Rowlston; her brothers, Trevor and Derick; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Evalyn was preceded in death by a daughter, Trudy; mother, Valdit; and her father, Clarence. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Saturday, February 22nd, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will resume on Sunday, February 23rd, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church 4555 Jones Creek Road from 9:00am until the religious service at 11:00am.
