A Memorial Mass will be held today at 1:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Dahlonaga "Dee" Page Drouet, 49, who passed away March 8, 2014 at her residence in Carencro. Father Gary Schexnayder, pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Church, will be the Celebrant of the Mass. Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will perform, "Amazing Grace", "Psalm 23", "Ave Maria", "How Beautiful Are You", and "You Raise Me Up." Lectors will be Nicole Sonnier and Kayla Guidry; gift bearers will be Noah Russell, Kaili Russell, Braylon Anderson and Breyion Anderson. Survivors include husband, Jimmy Drouet of Carencro; her father, Francis Durand of Jacksonville, FL; two daughters, Jobie (Anthony) Russell of Eunice and Jenna Judice of Carencro; one son, Damond Judice of Cankton; two step-sons, Dexter Drouet (Lori) of Carencro and Trace Drouet of Carencro; three sisters, Dana Aucoin of Lafayette, Vickey Breaux of Opelousas, and Sandra Guidry of Grand Coteau; three brothers, David "Pokey" Guidry of Carencro, Paul "PD" Guidry of Breaux Bridge, and Ronnie Guidry of Carencro; and twelve grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two mothers, Louanna and Edmae Maturin; her father, David Guidry; two brothers, Richard Guidry and Shannon Savoie; and one sister, Linda Thibodeaux.
