Her light will shine on in the memories of her family, loved ones and friends .
It is very difficult to lose a dear loved one in a tragic manner.
To the family of Connie, I offer my deepest sympathy and support. I am a person who has experienced a similar loss ; I lost my only sister and her 12 year old daughter during an 18 wheeler auto accident many years ago . I love my sister and niece, who both died simultaneously in 1981. Yes, I understand all of the many feelings that a family member feels when grieving a sudden loss. It's very difficult to even accept the news and even years later, it is through God's love that we get through the difficult times. You are never alone... For His comfort stays with you forever.
It is by keeping Connie's memory alive by speaking of her, and honoring her by never forgetting what a special lady she was here on earth.
May God bless you and give you comfort in this very emotional and difficult time.
Please let me know how you all are doing.
Keeping you all in my prayers.

On behalf of Women Veterans of Louisiana, we would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family of Constance Pitt Carcisse, U.S. Air Force Veteran. Here is a poem that we honor our women who served with at their services:
She is a woman veteran
Whose service was true
She proudly served
The Red, White and Blue
She gave a part of her life
So others could be free
And without any hesitation,
She joined unselfishly
She did her job well
With Honor and Pride
And served her great country
With the men alongside
We're proud today to know
That although she is gone
She goes on to glory
After a job "well done"
And so, "Our Dear Sister"
We salute you today
A special Airman laid to rest
In this quiet, solemn way
Inspired by: God
