Jackson, Yvonne Elaine, loving daughter, sister and aunt, 65, died on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home. Inc., Zachary on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 12noon until service time at 2:00 pm conducted by Dr. Wayne Barnes. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker, LA. She is survived by her parents, Homer and Eva Mae Watts Jackson of Zachary, sisters, Lorraine and husband Glenn McCann of Hemphill, TX, Patricia Jackson of Baton Rouge and Rosalyn and husband, Donald Hunt, Jr. of Zachary, nieces and nephews, Donald and Jessica Hunt, Landon and Amanda Hunt, Melissa McCann, Ingrid Hunt, Trey McCann and Lauren Hunt. She spent a lot of time on the computer, loved her casino trips to New Orleans but her greatest love was her nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Elkins and Dr. Mandras for the great care and support they have shown Yvonne and her family throughout her illness. Heaven has truly gained another angel and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial donations may be made to Caring Voice Coalition at www.caringvoice.org.
