A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church for Ann J. Daigle, 80, who passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014. The Reverend Gary Schexnayder, Pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, will officiate the ceremony. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Curllis Daigle of Lafayette; two daughters, Martha Breaux of Lafayette, and Cathleen Daigle of Lafayette; one son, James "Tony" Daigle and his wife Pat of Church Point; four grandchildren, Marlana Daigle, Michael Breaux, Marak Breaux, and Caitlin Ardoin; two step-grandchildren, Crystal and Vanessa Coroy; her godchild, Peggy Tauzin; and other loved ones, Catherine Waldman, Catie Breaux, and Chris Ardoin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorena and Clifford E. Johnson. Mrs. Daigle was a native of Monroe, Louisiana and lived in Lafayette for most of her life. She loved her dogs, especially her Schnauzer's, and was an excellent cook, with a library of cookbooks in various languages at her disposal. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation hours will be observed on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Walters Funeral Home. A rosary will be said on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Visiting will resume on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Autism Society Acadiana, 3108 W.
