She was 70 years old. Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 49 years, Thomas Alfred; two sisters, Josephine Francis of Lafayette, LA, and Nellie Mitchell of New Orleans, LA; one brother, Ellery (Grace) Benoit of Lafayette, LA; two aunts, Bertha Benoit and Christebelle Zeno of Lafayette, LA; three grandchildren and a host nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ozare and Gladys Zeno Benoit, and one brother, Herbert Benoit. Viewing will be Saturday, June 7, 2014, 8:00 AM until the time of service at True Vine Ministries Intl. Kinchen Funeral Home, Inc. of Lafayette is in charge of final arrangements.
