Katherine "Faye" Moore, a resident of Erwinville, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, surrounded by her family. Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Faye was born June 23, 1938, in Erwinville and graduated from Port Allen High School. She was married for 50 years to the late James "Jerry" Edward Moore. She is survived by her daughter, Sheri Marie Falcon of Erwinville, sons Steven James Moore of Atlanta, Scott Thomas Moore and wife Jennifer of Brusly and John Shannon Moore of Erwinville; grandchildren Alan James Infinger, Patrick Scott Moore, Briana Katherine Falcon, Katherine Marie Moore and Jadon Rene Alvarez; brother, Sidney Chauvin and sisters, Johnnie Belle Flynn, Linda and husband Steve Hicks, Suzette and husband Jerry Lowe; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved dog, Maggie. She was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Moore, her parents Sidney Henry and Lottie Belle Chauvin. Pallbearers will be her sons, grandsons and brother. Honorary pallbearers will be nephew Todd Flynn and cousin, Tommy Montgomery. Private, family religious services will be conducted on Monday, July 7, 2014, at 11:00 am at the graveside in Chenal Cemetery in Pointe Coupee Parish. The family wishes to express their gratitude and deep appreciation to Hospice of Pointe Coupee for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers the Moore family request donations be made to Hospice of Pointe Coupee. Arrangements by Niland Funeral Home, New Roads.
