To Tina and the Jackson Family
Life is but a stopping place, A pause in that's to be, A resting place along the road to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, we all are meant to learn some things; but never meant to stay... Our destination is place far greater than we know. for some, the jouney's quicker, for some, the journey's slow. And when the journey finally ends, We'll claim a great reward And find an everlasting peace. Together with the Lord. Lord make this sorrow slowly melt. Lord, let happy memories ease,Creating peace like a gentle breeze, And as you help them make it through. Draw them closer, Lord, to you. Sincere condolences on your loss. I'll keep your love ones in my thoughts and prayers. Retired LSVI Cowoker of 30 years.

To the Jackson Family
Coach Jackson really was a down to earth kind of guy. Like many others have said he loved the kids and the kids loved him in return. He was a people person loved people period. Whenever I had a problem with one of the boys coach would pull them to the side and tell them about respect when to speak and when not to speak. You can tell what kind of person he was just by reading all of the kind words on his facebook page and also on here his guest book. Not only did I work with coach he also worked with others in my family my mother, aunts and uncle. I remembered when he retired the kids would often speak of him saying about how they miss seeing him around campus and talking with him. Oh and could coach cut those boys hair black and white he was just a jack of all trades. I know one student Samantha is smiling from ear to ear asking him coach do you have any candy, she wasn't able to find her way to class but she knew how to get to coach Jackson's class. It was truly a blessing to have worked with Him. Coach you will always have a spot in our hearts! RIP Coach Jackson We will keep the family in our prayers! To the Family:

Coach Jackson was a wonderful person. Kindness and consideration for others was a strong trait of his.

I met him the first day he arrived at LSVI - and he remained a friend to me and my husband. The two of them on occasion attended the same gym to workout. We will miss him dearly.

Coach loved LSVI and he loved working with the children. His time was not only spent in the classroom or on campus with them, but on numerous trips involving competing as well as fun-filled events.

Our prayers are extended to the entire
family. To his children I would like to say: Remember that God will continue to serve as a father for you. Do not be afraid to lean on him. I remember when you all were very small children visiting LSVI. Many times I witnessed you all arriving on campus with your mother to wait for your dad to get off from work. In later years, his eyes would always sparkle when talking about his children and grandchildren.

God gives us wonderful memories to remain after our loved ones have gone to eternal rest. May the entire
family remain safe and well.

Love Always,

Delois C. Lee & Charles Lee & Family

I am very sad today, to hear of the passing of my long time friend Coach Bill Jackson. Jack was a First Class Wresting Coach at LSVI. I met him over 35 years ago when i was a Wrestler at Brusly High School at that time. I later became the High School Wrestling Assignment Sectrary and we developed a great working relationship for 25 year until he retired. Jack would fight very hard for his wrestler at LSVI at Dual meets and Tournaments, aways with Class. I will miss my friend. I remember how Jack stuck up for me when i was faced a problem as the Assignment Sectrary , when all the other Black Wrestling Coach turned there backs on me, Jack stood up for me and we Prevailed . There will never be another like Bill Jackson in this life time. Rest from your Labor Jack, i will see you again. Rev.Dr.Ray Johnson- Wrestling Official
