A native and resident of Baton Rouge, Pat Bonaventure died on Friday, July 11, 2014, at Fidelis House. She was 74. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd. on Sunday, July 13, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. and resumes on Monday, July 14, from 9 a.m until religious services at 10 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Trey Nelson. Entombment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pat is survived by her husband of 52 years, Michael J. Bonaventure; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dara and Paul Kyle and Darci and Paul Furlow; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Shelley Bonaventure; two brothers, Jerry and Robert Adams; and seven grandchildren, Caroline, Harrison, Catherine, Preston, Reagan, Kinley and Kohen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry T. and Lucille Gabriel Adams. Pat was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends, traveling and watching movies. Pat's family offers special thanks to the entire staff of Fidelis House for their wonderful care of our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Services of the Captial Area.
