Alvin Johnson, 78 passed away Friday night on August 22, 2014, at the Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the Vietnam War. He was married fifty-two years to Mrs. Eva Davis Johnson, who preceded him in death. He is survived by their two children, Ann and Jonathan Johnson. A daughter-in-law D'Wanda Johnson. Two grandsons, four great-grandchildren, one sister and one brother. Viewing will be held at Desselle Funeral Home, 263 Eddie Robinson Sr. Dr., from 8 a.m. 'til religious service at 10 a.m. Saturday, 8/30.
