Peggy Bennett Gonthier was a temporary resident of Denham Springs. She passed away at Ochsner of Baton Rouge on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the age of 41. Visitation will be held at Open Door Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation on Wednesday will resume at 9:00am. Dr. Travis Plumlee will conduct funeral services at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Chambers Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Christopher Gonthier, three children, Justin Allen Gonthier, Meaghan Marie Gonthier and husband Kenny Garrett and Gabrielle "Gabby" Grace Gonthier, two grandchildren, Nikolas and Michael Gonthier, mother, Louise Bennett, brother Bubba Bennett and wife Kerri, sister, Laura James and husband Richard and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Bobby" Bennett, Sr. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Family Ark Ministries. Remember flowers die, but souls are eternal.
