Dorothy Cameron Obituary

Cameron, Dorothy A baker and a resident of Livingston, she died Monday, July 10, 2006, in Livingston. She was 78 and a native of Millry, Ala. Visiting was at McDonald Funeral Home, 401 W. Canal St., Picayune, Miss., on Wednesday, July 12, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 13, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Mike Price officiating. Burial in New Palestine Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Cameron; son, Sonny Cameron; granddaughter, Hollie Cote; two sisters, Monteal Gideon and Katie Johnson; and two brothers, Preston Crane and Richard "Babe" Crane. She is survived by five daughters, Linda "Pepper" Wynne of Orange, Texas, Jerry Bennett of Livingston, Jeannie Chaisson of Lafayette, Patty Vanichchagorn of Baton Rouge, and Faye Borne of Livingston; son, Floyd Wayne Cameron of Alabama; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Frank Crane of Livonia, Ga., Willie Crane of Hemphill, Texas, and James Crane of Moss Point, Miss.; two sisters, Vivian Vaughn of Baton Rouge and Dora "Sister" Weckworth of Lucedale, Miss.; and a dear friend and companion, Pat Stovall.
