Alesi, Santa Rose Crescionne "Tina" A homemaker and a resident and native of Plaquemine, she died at 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at River West Medical Center, Plaquemine. She was 84. Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine, on Saturday, July 29, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Cleo Milano, celebrant. Interment in Grace Memorial Park. She is survived by a daughter, Jo Alesi Roark and husband Larry of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Vic Alesi and wife Mattie of San Jose, Calif., and Pete Alesi of Carson City, Nev.; sister, Daisy Crescionne DeBenedetto of Port Allen; and four grandchildren, Neal Roark of Pensacola, Fla., and Patrick Roark, Michael Roark and Ryan Roark, all of Tampa. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Alesi, M.D.; parents, Peter and Rosalie Palermo Crescionne; and two brothers, Peter "Poochie" Crescionne Jr. and Joseph Crescionne. Wilbert Funeral Home of Plaquemine is in charge of arrangements.
