Lou passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Plaquemine Manor surrounded by her family at the age of 95. She was a homemaker; resident and native of Plaquemine, La. Visiting will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Entombment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. She is survived by her children, Walter Rhorer and wife Debra, Cynthia Rhorer Gum and husband Billy, Robert Rhorer and Laurie Rhorer Aucoin and husband Kirk; grandchildren, Ashely Rhorer Babin, Melissa Gum Anderson and husband Jason, Jennifer Gum and husband Mathew Madyda, Kirsten Aucoin Bouchereau, Ruston Rhorer, Lauren Rhorer, Shannon Rhorer Mejia-Flores, Brandy Rhorer and Ashlie Kyle and husband Eric; great grandchildren, Kayla Babin, Courtland and Cain Anderson, Kaitlyn Devillier, Cain Acosta, Scarlett Rhorer, Sierra Phillips, Gabriella Mejia-Flores, Armani Kittiraj, Penelope Nguyen, Logan Kyle and Baby Boy Kyle; great great granddaughter, Paisley Falke; and special niece, Marvo Legendre. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter Rhorer; granddaughter, Christy Noel Rhorer; parents, Robert and Leontine Daigre; sisters, Mary Elma Daigre Rome, Margaret Volita Daigre Orillion and Ione Louise Daigre Woodcock; and brother, Robert Daigre.
