Annette A. McGehee age 87, who was a native of Meadville, MS and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018. She is a member of the Easter Star Istrouma Lodge 162. She and her husband were business owners of The Rubber House of Baton Rouge, Inc. for over 45 years. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James Douglas ""JD"" and Colleen McGehee; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Marilynne and Christopher Whisnant, Sr.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Marilyn Pierce and husband Joe. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harold R. McGehee; parents, Troy and Clara McManus Adams; daughter and son-in-law, Alice Karen and Rev. George Terrell. The family requests visiting hours at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 12:00 pm until funeral services at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook or leave a personal note to the family at www.resthavenbatonrouge.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Central Food Bank, 12023 Sullivan Rd, La 70818; or The Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, 7200 Desiard St. Monroe, La 71203. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Maude, Claudette, Shirley and Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge for their loving care and support.
