BENOIT, ROBERT JOSEPH An industrial painter with Turner Industries and a resident of Pierre Part, he died at 1:30 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2004, in Napoleonville. He was 43 and a native of Thibodaux. Visiting was at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part, from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial was at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Pierre Part, at noon Thursday, celebrated by the Rev. Clarence Waguespack. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux. He is survived by his wife, Nadine Landry Benoit of Pierre Part; father, Clarence Benoit of Independence; mother, Shirley Lirette Benoit of Thibodaux; a son, Robert Landry of Pierre Part; a stepdaughter, Britney Landry of Pierre Part; three sisters, Wanda Vendros of Gonzales, Theresa Lirette of Thibodaux and Diane Benoit of Independence; five brothers, Clarence Benoit Jr., Tony Benoit of Pierre Part, Danny and Alton Allemond, both of Thibodaux, and Terry Allemond of Independence; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Percy and Ann Aucoin Landry of Pierre Part. He was preceded in death by a sister, Vergie Lee Allemond; and two brothers, Christopher Benoit Sr. and Allen Allemond. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
