Anna Theriot Alleman, 84, a native and resident of Pierre Part, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at home surrounded by her family. She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Mabile and husband Julius, and Mavis Mabile; four sons, Ronald and wife Vicky, Raymond and wife Pam, James and fiancée Jo Heard, and Lynn and wife Sheryl; brother, Weekless Theriot; 16 grandchildren, Cheramie Garbutt, Darren Alleman, Brandon Mabile, Jordan Mabile, Ross Alleman, Nikki Alleman, Joshua Alleman, Jamie Alleman, Jeana Alleman, Kathleen Heard, Jennie Heard, Laurie Alleman, Neil Alleman, Beau Bergeron, Amanda Bergeron and Courtney Dencausse; and 11 great-grandchildren, Claire Garbutt, Ian Garbutt, Maggie Mabile, Kynzli George, Kaden McCloskey, Lola Metrejean, Andrew Alleman, Emma Heard, Brayden Hood, Hayes Hood and Christian Dencausse. Preceded in death by her husband, Emile N. Alleman; parents, Leonie Theriot Sr. and Georgina Theriot; five brothers, Renee Theriot, Leonie Theriot Jr., Ned Theriot, Phillip Theriot and Eno Theriot; three sisters, Regina Theriot, Judith Theriot and Agnes Theriot; and a daughter-in-law, Lena Alleman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Pierre Part, Thursday, Oct. 6, from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at noon, with the Rev. Clarence Waguespack, celebrant. Entombment in the church mausoleum. The family would like to give a special thanks to Rev. Waguespack and the St. Joseph the Worker Church office staff, Journey Hospice staff, her caregivers, Gloria Landry, Jo Heard and Darlene Monceaux, homebound Eucharistic ministers and rosary prayer groups.
