Although I did not have the privilege of knowing your mother, it sounds like she worked in her youth for my father at Simon Furniture, and I know he surrounded himself with good people. If he were here, he would say, I feel sure, that he knows you will miss your mother, but she is with God, as is her husband and your father, and someday you will see them again, and all will be reunited. God bless your mother. May we all find the right way to live, as she apparently did, so that we are all remembered well.

I am truly sorry that I cannot be there. Your parents were truly two of the nicest and most gracious people I have ever met. I always felt warmly welcomed whenever I visited your home.
