Brent L. Tregre died peacefully on Sunday July 28, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Roddy Tregre. Father of David B. Tregre (Melissa). Grandfather of Christopher and Jenna Tregre. Son of the late Henry (Kido) and Louise Maus Tregre. Brother of Bruce Tregre (Jeanne). Brent enjoyed life and was devoted to his family, faith and community. He was a community leader serving as President of St. John Police Jury and Commissioner of South LA Port Commission. Member and past Grand Knight of Msgr. Bergeron KC Council, past President of LaPlace Lions Club and Jaycees, member of American Legion and VFW, St. Joan of Arc Pastorial Council President, Graduate of LSU and retired from Shell Oil, Norco.Age 80. A native of Reserve and a resident of LaPlace, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. 5th St., LaPlace, LA on Wednesday July 31, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and on Thursday from 9:00am to 10:45am followed by Mass at 11:00am. Burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie, LA. In Lieu of Flowers donation preferred to The Msgr. Vincent School Endowment. Arrangements by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, LA.

We enjoyed living next door to Barbara & Brent for over 30 years. What a great husband, father and friend. He always had smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. He will be missed. Rest in peace dear friend.
