Nancy Lee Carlyle, 77, of Zachary, LA, passed away unexpectedly at Lane Regional Medical Center on Thursday, February, 22, 2018. Nancy was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was born in Beaverdale, PA. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary, from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm with a 2:00 pm memorial service. Nancy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Roger Carlyle, Daughter, Deanna Rodenbeck and husband Carl, former daughter in law, Kathy Carlyle Billiot, sister, Joan Blumenfeld, grandchildren, Amanda Rodenbeck Grosze and husband, Jason, Megan Rodenbeck-Atchley and husband Luke, Conner Rodenbeck, Chris Oglesby and Issac Kendrick. She is preceded in death by her son, Alan Carlyle and parents, Weimer and Agnes Hildebrand. Nancy was a avid baker and cook who prepared gigantic meals and scrumptious desserts for family gatherings. Some of her greatest joys included her dogs, Koko and Maxie, Aerobics and LSU sports. Her infectious laugh and generosity will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
