Jane Lacoste Aucoin, 75, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, in Donaldsonville. She was a native and resident of Pierre Part. She is survived by two sons, Tony and wife Kate Aucoin, and Rickey Aucoin; daughter, Bonnie and husband Edwin Cavalier; sister, Dorothy Ponville; brother, Leonard Lacoste; eight grandchildren, Mandy, Shawn, Cole, Kristie, Nicole, Ashley, Josh and Casey; and two great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Colbin. Preceded in death by her husband, Rivers Aucoin; parents, Albert Lacoste and Oville Mabile Lacoste; daughter, Melissa Boudreaux; sister, Geraldine Landry; and two brothers, Robert Lacoste and Johnny Acosta. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home of Pierre Part on Friday, Aug. 5, from 9 a.m. until leaving for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part at 11 a.m. Burial in the church cemetery.
