Brannon, I don't know where to start. First I was in great somber, but now since I've seen this photo of you, its lighten me up and made me smile. We first met in the bottom on Georgia St. by Mrs. Sparrow's house. we were like 7-8 yrs of age. Ike, you and myself played basketball together down the street in Pierre's yard. Ike was younger than us, but he had skills. Funny how far we go back to single digit age. You hated to not win. "Funny" Losing wasn't in your vocabulary even as a child. That stuck with you until you resting day. Throughout the years as we grew older we began to not see much of each other. Our paths took us in different directions. Recently we caught back up with one another and shared a lot of our life experiences. As young men we shared a lot of point of views. We even liked some of the same cars, etc... Throughout all you told me you've been through, you stated something that reminded me of the younger Brannon I used shoot street ball with. You stated that you refuse to be defeated. I smiled and was like boy you've never changed. You complimented me on my accomplishments and we exchanged numbers. We were suppose to hangout on a few occasions recently, but we have a chance to. Brannon you said to me, Reese giving up is not an option in life dog. You said keep your head up and keep it moving. Brannon as I reflect while signing your guest book, I'm holding it down just as you said. In closing B, you are the victorious one in my book, you've won dude. You're a winner. There's not too many people you've come across in your lifetime that can say anything less of you. You've touched many Sleep on my brother until we all meet again. I love you & your family from all angles as we discussed and that will never change. That's my word!!

I remember the day you were born. Your mom was my favorite person in the world. I adored her as a little girl. She was six years older than me but she always allowed me to hang around her and her friends. I was honored when she said that I could be your Godmother. You had that big head and huge smile. I nicknamed you "TANK" and you became my Tank for life. There was always that special bond with us. It didn't matter how long the time between our talks or visits; the love was always there. Your face would light up when you saw me and it warmed my heart because you were my Tank. Over the past several months I saw more and more of you. You were hanging with your cousins, Nine, Louis, Marlon, Nine, Kena...just hanging in the Bottom. You showed up late for Nine's celebration; but you made it before we left and never stopped smiling. You showed up for Aunt Frankie's repast and never stopped smiling. Everyone had left Christmas night but the bell rings and there is Tank! I was so happy to see you, smiling. You told me that you wanted to get into the insurance business when I got the company going and I couldn't wait to make it happen for you. I will get that company going, Tank. Hopefully, someday one of your kids will do what you intended there. I am sure going to miss my Tank. I loved you so much. Rest my baby. Until we meet again...Nanny

Counts, all I keep asking myself is why!?! I will always remember seeing you smile when you came downtown. I will remember the words you told me "you will make some man proud one day". All the things you said to me when I was down and out I remember. I remember the good and the bad. You are resting now and I miss you dearly friend. Keep that smile on your face and keep blessing overs just like you did down here on this earthly land. Love you friend!!!!
