A native of St. Francisville, Louisiana and a resident of Jackson, LA. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 4:38 a.m. He was 82 years old. Visitation will be Monday, March 25, 2013 from 9 a.m. until Religious Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Asphodel Baptist Church, 4091 Highway 68, Jackson, LA., conducted by Pastor Roy Miller. Services Entrusted to Miller and Daughter Mortuary. He is survived by a devoted daughter, Brenda Dunn Gipson, two granddaughters, "the apples of his eye" Breona and Bre'Kayla Gipson. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including his extended family, Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie McKowen and Family.
