A native of Calhoun, LA, he passed away on March 25, 2014, at age 95. He was a retired minister, educator, and U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by a daughter, Colette J. Norman; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Taylor; a brother, Rev. Richard Johnson Sr.; grandchildren, Thaddeus Norman Jr. PhD., Bridget Norman Malme M.D. Preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Johnson; and his spouse, Mrs. Iceola W. Johnson. Visitation will be at Bethel AME Church on Friday, April 4, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., XI NU Lambda Chapter will conduct the Omega Service at 10:30 a.m. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park.
