Betty Joy Teater, of Baton Rouge, LA, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Teater, children, Michael and Janet Driggers, Terresa Stafford, Janice Teater, Lawerance and Gale Teater, Chester and Sherry Watts, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, brothers, Buddy Mobley and Bo Mobley, sister, Helen Beaudreaux, half-sisters, Hazel, Debbie and Linda, half-brothers, Claude and Dicky. She is preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle N. Sullivan, father, Burly Mobley, step-father, Fredick Sullivan, sister, Gladys Cantley, and brother, Don L. Mobley. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs from 10:00AM until funeral services at 1:00PM. We would like to express our condolences to Betty Joy's family. even though we were not able to visit her, we have many memories of the beautiful person she was. We grew together as children as our parents were very close. Perhaps God has a special tea room where all our Mother's are meeting. Enjoying a painless time.
My father, George Nolen was Myrtle Nolen Sullivan brother, Betty and I were cousins. Love to all the family
