Earline Marie Fontenelle McCullough, age 88, of Baton Rouge, died peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2013. A woman devoted to God, her family, community and friends, will be greatly missed. She was born October 8, 1924, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Roy B Fontenelle, Sr. and Earline Morvant Fontenelle She was preceded in death by her brother Roy B Fontennelle, Jr. and her loving husband of 54 years Robert H. McCullough, Sr. Earline is survived by her stepmother, Rita Fontenelle, her children, Robert H. McCullough, Jr. and George T. McCullough (Darlene), her granddaughter Heather Lancaster, and her great grandchildren, Brandon and Jordan Lancaster and Cameron LeCompte. Earline was a resident of New Orleans, LA for 28 years and of Metairie, LA for 58 years. She moved to Baton Rouge two years ago and became a resident of The Haven at Windermere. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at www.gardenofmemoriesfuneralhome.com.

Unforgettable Aunt Earline, always made a good time even better by just being there. She was a pleasure to know, she loved us all, and I still think often of her.

Aunt Earline... I will dearly miss you and all the love and laughter you brought into my life. One of the kindest and most caring people I have ever known. I will always treasure the memories that I have of all of our family holidays, vacations, get togethers, etc.. Your receipes of Pecan Pies, Lemon Bars, Panned Veal, Dirty Rice, etc., will be carried on for generations in my family.

Earline was a good friend from the old neighborhood on Division Street. Bobby and Georgie were two of the many boys that played together on Division St. & at Cleary Playground. Earline was a kind person and mother to all of the children in the neighborhood. I know her sons will miss her dearly.

Earline was a good friend from the old neighborhood on Division Street. George and Bobby were two of the many boys that played at Cleary & the neighborhood from the age of 5 yrs old. I'm sorry to hear of Earline's passing, and know that George & Bobby will miss her dearly. She was such a kind person and a mother to all of the children in the neighborhood.
