Marshall James Duplessis, 33, native of Denham Springs and resident of Walker, LA, passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013. He served and defended our country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a graduate of Denham Springs High School and an avid sports fan, especially for LSU and the Saints. He was a loving son, grandson, brother and friend. He will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from noon until service at 3 p.m., officiated by Bro. Carl Rushing. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park. He is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Joy Duplessis; brothers, Chris and Dru Duplessis; grandparents, Billy and Doris Van; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Barbara and Pete Compton. Pallbearers will be Kerry and Dru Duplessis, Jason Wesley, Landon Jordan, Ryan Leger, and Matthew Davis.
