Thomas A. Aydell, 64, a resident and native of Maurepas, LA, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 after a battle with stage IV lung cancer. He was a proud U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a retired Motorized Supervisor from Exxon Chemical Plant in Baton Rouge, LA. Tommy enjoyed spending time with his friends, cooking, and working in his garden. He is survived by his two sons, Landon Aydell and Blaine Aydell; two daughters, Tiffany Aydell and Missy Aydell Baker; brother, V.J. Aydell; and sister, Louise Johnson. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Viola and J.V. Aydell. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Whitehall, LA on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 10 a.m., followed by a military burial at 2 p.m. at Port Hudson National Cemetery, Zachary, LA.
